1 example shows how much does it cost for receiving, inspecting, re-labeling products in a U.S. warehouse:
“Hi Jack, I have another problem. I have had some hangers sent to Amazon with the wrong sku stickers on them. They have ended up mixed up with another product. Is it possible to send my 120 hangers to your warehouse in the US to have new sku sticker put on? Then they send them back to Amazon? Can they do this? Will it cost a lot?”

This is white one, Shelf is all white:
“It is 179 in total of both wrong hangers and right hangers. I am hoping to be able to separate the wrong products from the right products at Amazon just by when they were received and where the were sent. So 179 would be maximum number.”
“If we can seperate wrong hangers from right ones at Amazon then I would only need new skus. But, if I can’t seperate them at Amazon then all boxes would need opening to seperate the right from wrong. Then correct sku stickers put back on. Does that make sense? If I can seperate at Amazon then probably only about 120 pieces.”
“I know which cities the wrong ones have been sent to but there is 1 city that both right type and wrong type went to so I’m not sure if they can seperate those.”

- Receive: 1.50 / Ctn * 10 = 15 USD
- Inspect & re-label: 2.00 / pc * 200 pcs = 400 USD
- Open, take products out, put products in, seal carton box: 3.00 / ctn * 10 = 30 USD.
- Put on shipping marks: 1.00 / pc(include mark) * 10 = 10 USD.
- Palletize and send: 20.00 / pallet. Include package materials * 1 = 20 USD
- Ship pallets to Amazon by truck: 50.00 / pallet * 1 = 50 USD
Sum: 15+400+30+10+20+50=625 USD. (hopefully we can do a bargain to have a discount, to make it somewhere like 550 USD )

What we learned?
Have this shipment inspected before shipping to Amazon, esp. double confirm the labels carefully when you receive inspection pictures.
