Thinking of tens of thousands of foam balls, need to count 100 of them, then put into a small box, many people will break down: what? How do I count them? It’s simply a daunting task!
Relax! Here is our secret of how-to, step by step 🙂
Step 1: Fold Boxes
The box starts out as a piece of cardboard and we need to fold the carton according to the indentation, depending on the number of foam balls, we have to fold hundreds of boxes.
Need to be folded like this:
We need many:
Step 2: Count
Here comes the important one! How to count 100 balls quickly?
There are several common methods we use when packing to count the number of balls:
(1) Count the quantity one by one
This method is suitable for a small number of goods, and the unit volume of the general, but for tens of thousands of foam ball, this is not realistic, is a trouble method.
(2) Weighing calculation method
This method is suitable for a larger number of goods with a smaller volume per unit quantity, first weigh 50, 100 or more quantities of goods as a unit, then use the scale to weigh the same weight to calculate the quantity, but the foam ball is bubble goods, the weight is too light, and the quantity is too much, this method will waste a lot of time.
Because of the special nature of the product, so we can’t use the ordinary method. So here comes our secret weapon!
(3) The method we came out:
What? Just a plain old tray for eggs can output quantities? Yes!
We cut and paste two trays together with a total of 50 small compartments, then dip the tray into a foam ball pool, bring it up and shake off the excess foam balls from the tray, then in this way we are guaranteed to be able to count 50 foam balls in some seconds!
Use the tray twice to count 100 balls, prepare a few empty boxes and put 100 in one box for subsequent packing.
Step 3: Pack and Label
We poured the counted 100 balls into a folded cardboard box, flattened it, sealed the box, and placed the printed label sticker in the middle of the front of the box. The information on the label includes the customer’s logo, product name, quantity, barcode, etc. It’s entirely up to you!
